The Kelton Trail is located off of the Old Malad River Highway.  Between 1864 and 1883, the Kelton Road was on the regular road that carried mail, freight, and passengers between Boise and Kelton, Utah.  Following the short trail, visitors can see the abutments for the bridge that carried wagons traveling on the Oregon Trail.  Watch out for wagon ruts, the high traffic use of this road allows them to still be seen today.
